Friends of JEF e.V. is organised as a non-profit association under German law and is composed by former and active members of the Young European Federalists (JEF) in order to support international youth exchange and the activities of JEF.
The alumni network pursues as primary goals: networking, activation of JEF alumni, fundraising.
Membership is free of charge, regular donations are welcome.
FoJ keeps its functioning costs to an absolute minimum. All work is done on a voluntary basis by former JEF activists.
Friends of JEF organises reunions of former JEF activists about every two years. Each year the association is conducting is annual general assembly. These are tied to the FoJ reunions in relevant years and to autumn UEF FCs in alternating years. The bureau meets about every two months.
Friends of JEF e.V. is a registered with the courts in Berlin. Donations to FoJ are tax-exempt under German law.
